Beach Life

Ninh Chu is the main beach area of Phan Rang City and it boasts a very modest stretch of a golden sandy shoreline with some spectacular mountain backdrops. It is the prime location for foil boarders as it has calm deep waters with very little shore break and more gentle winds on offer than at My Hoa or Son Hai. This spot is also a great place to kite from when the other locations have little to no water in the lagoons and it is the main focal spot from the middle of March onwards due to the switch of the more onshore to southerly winds.

It has been the host location for Asia’s largest kitesurfing competition the Kiteboard Tour Asia (KTA) as well as the very first CR:X convertible race event held by the Neil Pryde group. Currently there are no purpose built kite center facilities here only shaded hangouts at some of the beachfront properties that align the walkway and it is polite to at least buy some food and drinks whilst you use their premises to safe guard your gear and relax in between sessions.

As this is very close to the main city there are an abundance of accommodation choices to suit your needs. Please contact us for more information on recommendations and availability
