LOCATION

Phan Rang

is the capital city of  the Ninh Thuan Province area. It is set in the heart of the tourist triangle of Dalat, Nha Trang and Mui ne/ Phan Thiet. Each of those surrounding cities are approximately 2 hours drive away.

The city is not known as being a tourist destination therefore it is much quieter than most other cities in Vietnam. However the kitesurfing in the surrounding area is sublime and of the handful of tourists that you do happen to see or meet as you’re wandering around the chances are that they are here for the same reason as yourself and that is the amazing winds and unspoilt landscape that this location has to offer.

Technically speaking the main kite spots are My Hoa & Ninh Chu Bay but as the closest major city is Phan Rang then this is how the whole area is commonly known as amongst the kitesurfing community.
